Dumpster Tip: "Jelly-riffic!"


Jelly Soda

Soft Jelly, and Sweet fizzy Soda!

This is less so a recipie and moreso a guide.

I had a dream where i went to a cafe and they had something called "Jelly Soda".

"Jelly" Ingredients:
  • This is for like 2 cups of soda btw
  • 2 grams of jellies/gummies of your choosing
  • 1/2 cup of boiling hot water
    • Soda Ingredients!
  • (Optional: you can just BUY the soda.)
  • 1 Liter of soda water
  • either powder or liquid flavoring of your choice.
  • (Instant drink mix works best.)

    • Dumpster Tip: "I think it works because the gummies have Gelatin? probably. Science-riffic!"



    Flavor Mix Suggestions!: Spr-unch:

    Fruit Punch / Assorted fruit flavor jelly + Lemon Lime Soda

    CitrusCola:

    Orange flavor jelly + Cola

    Strawberry Fields:

    Strawberry jelly + Strawberry soda

    Battery Acid:

    Sour Blue Raspberry jelly + ORIGINAL Monster

    Pina Colada:

    Coconut jelly + Pineapple soda

    Ch-ch-cherry bomb:

    Cherry jelly + Cream soda

    POG:

    Passion fruit + Guava jelly + Orange soda

    Shirley Temple:

    Cherry jelly + Lemon Lime soda

    Ghost Buster:

    Lime jelly + Blue Raspberry soda


    Instructions:


    Jelly Making:

    Put the gummies into the cup

    Pour the hot boiling water into the cup

    mix carefully but non-stop until the gummies have melted into the water

    let it sit until room temperature, then place it in the fridge for an hour for it to fully set


    Optional soda making:

    Place a small amount of water and the drink mix or flavoring into a small container. STIR UNTILL ALL POWDER IS LIQUID.

    do it until it is emulsified, kind of like a syrup!

    Pour the "syrup" mixture and the 1 liter of carbonated water into the bottle you chose to store it in and gently mix together.

    (you can add less water if you want it stronger i think its already pretty strong though.)

    Enjoy as is or on ice


    Jelly Soda Making:

    Once Set pour the soda ontop of the jelly with ice.

    Mix it up! break up the jelly with a straw or a stirring stick so it can be drank.
